Every time it rains, I know I'll be heading down to the basement with a bucket and mop. The water seeps up through a crack in the foundation, right by the old furnace, pooling around the storage shelves. It's not a flood you could swim in, but it's enough to soak boxes and rust tools. I've tried sealant, redirected the downspouts, and even regraded the yard, but somehow that spot always finds a way. Now I just keep everything up on pallets and wait for the forecast.
