When you need to convert megabytes to gigabytes, just remember that one gigabyte equals 1024 megabytes. So if you have a file size or storage capacity in MB, divide that number by 1024 to get the GB equivalent. For example, 2048 MB becomes 2 GB. This comes in handy when comparing cloud storage plans, understanding download limits, or checking how much space a large game or movie will take up on your drive.
